Given differing priorities and ideas, I had been undecided on whether to completely split off my work on Celestia.
Until this morning that is.
Alexell, who revived shatters.net at celestia.space, and is currently in the drivers seat of that project, has begun the process of integrating QT into the core of Celestia, rather than having it as just another UI it can use.
Celestia is his project, and it is his decision to make.
I disagree, but there is nothing for me to do save go ahead and fork to do my own thing.
So I am going ahead and putting my private forks up over at my forum.
Initially, the differences will be small, though they will grow over time.
I will of course offer any help I can, but I am unsure how I will be able to since I can not use the compiler that he does, and my own code will differ from his since I am keeping the QT and other interfaces separate.
